Mary "Tish" Kaplan

KAPLAN, Mary “Tish”, age 82, of Dayton, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2020. She was born to the late Ohmer Slaven and Lillian Vermillion in Virginia on February 22, 1938.

Mary graduated from Wilbur Wright High School. She was a member of Temple Israel and ORT, a Jewish volunteer organization. Mary was a fun-loving, nurturing homemaker who always put her family first. She was the glue that held the family tightly together.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Daniel Kaplan. She is survived by children, Lisa (Bryon) Larichie, Abby Scott, Shelly Kaplan; grandchildren, Chandra Scott, Alyssa Geisenfeld, Jenna Geisenfeld; great-grandchild, Brihanna Howell.

A graveside service will be held at 12:30, on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Riverview (Temple Israel) Cemetery. Share your condolences with the family at www.routsong.com.
