Alan H. Cornish

CORNISH, Alan H., age 80 of Beavercreek, OH passed away Friday, March, 28, 2008 in Kettering, OH. Alan is preceded in death by his parents; Henry & Elizabeth Cornish and two sisters. Alan is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy of 58 years, two daughters and sons-in-law; Deborah (Blake) Ferguson of West Carrollton, Judy (Mike) Marcum of Miami Township, two sons and daughters-in-law; Dennis (Pat) Cornish of Centerville and Gary (Beth) Cornish of Tipp City, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren, one sister; Carole Boyd of Orono, Ontario Canada. . Alan graduated from the University of Toronto in 1950 with a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and retired in 1992 after an accomplished career of 42 years. He was a valued member of SCORE and an Investment Club in Dayton. Alan was a longtime devoted member of the Oak Creek United Church of Christ, 5280 Bigger Road, Kettering, OH where funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, April 2, 2008 with Rev. Bob McCann officiating with burial in David's Cemetery in Kettering. The family will receive friends 4 to 7 PM Tuesday at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Road, Kettering, OH.
