KIRBACH, Albert C. “Al” age 83, of Kettering, formerly of Bradenton, FL passed away Thursday, September 14, 2006 at Bethany Village. He received his Bachelor of Science in Medicine from St. Louis University. Al served in the United States Air Force as a medic and retired from Doctor’s Hospital where he served as a lab technician. He loved dancing, big band music, fishing and was a life time member of Kirby Stewart Post #24, the American Legion and the Bradenton Elks 1511. Al was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Mable Kirbach; first wife, Nellie Kirbach; brothers, Morrie, Bob and Vince Kirbach and sister, Theresa Cole. Al is survived by his wife, Diana Kirbach; 1 son, Jerry (Sandy) Kirbach of IL; 3 grandchildren, Joshua, Troy and Hannah of IL; 1 great- grandchild; sister, Bernadine (Conrad) Snyder of IL; brother, Bernard (Jane) Kirbach of Bradenton FL and numerous nieces and nephews in IL. A big thank you to special friend, Betty Ewing and all of Al’s supportive friends and neighbors. Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 21, 2006 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering followed by graveside services at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery with Father Tom Schmidt officiating. In memory of Al, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box, 182039, Dept. 013, Columbus, OH 43218-2039.
