Albert Horst Reuther

REUTHER, Albert H., 79, of Kettering, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at Heartland of Centerville. Albert went through school in Oakwood until 1948, graduated from the University of Dayton School of Engineering and the University of Cincinnati Law School. He was employed by General Motors and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and then entered private legal practice with Mr. Becker, where he represented German companies. Albert was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, the Federal Bar Association, the Liederkranz and a member of the Ohio Historical Society. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Elsbed Reuther. Albert is survived by his devoted wife of 38 years, Gesche; son, Albert I. (Kate) Reuther and their daughter Elizabeth and anticipating the arrival of Maria Joy of Boston, MA; daughter, Christine (Charles) Chappell and their children Benjamin, Anna and William of Geneva Switzerland. Funeral service will be held 11:30 AM on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Rd in Kettering officiated by Pastor Tony Sobocinski.
