Alex R. Dacanay

DACANAY, Alex R., age 22, of Centerville, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2000 at Kettering Medical Center. Alex was a student at Miami University in Oxford, OH. This being his last year at Miami, he was completing his BA in Business with future aspirations to become an independent film producer. He is a graduate of Incarnation, Class of '92 and Centerville High School, Class of '96. Alex was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan, who also enjoyed other outdoor sports, including hiking, soccer and snow skiing. A passionate music aficionado, he loved to catch the Dave Matthews Band and Phish live. Survived by his beloved parents, Roger & Eppie Dacanay of Centerville; his two sisters, Laarni and Cici Dacanay of Southern California; and many other relatives and numerous friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 4, 2000 in the Church of the Incarnation, 55 Williamsburg Lane, Centerville. Family will receive friends from 2-6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 3, 2000 in the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville.
