Alexander Karavish, Jr.

KARAVISH, Jr., Alexander, age 89, of Kettering, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2011. Alexander, a highly decorated WWII veteran, was born in Irondale, Ohio in 1922. He married the former Emma Wallich in 1952. He retired from WPAFB, Ohio in 1981. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Emma; brothers Paul and John Karavish; sister Ann Schilling. He is survived by his daughter, Karen Karavish; brothers Michael (Patricia) Karavish and Wesley (Helena) Karavish; special friend Helen Schweller; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 11:00am at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 2100 E. Stroop Rd. Family will greet friends beginning at 10:30am, at the funeral home.
