Alma Larue Mullen

MULLEN, Alma La Rue, age 79, of Centerville passed away Saturday, February 11, 2006. Alma was a charter member of Epiphany Lutheran Church, past coordinator of the senior citizens (J.O.L.Y.) group and a volunteer at the church. She retired from the Kettering Board of Education. Alma is preceded in death by her first husband of 38 years, John Demick, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. She is survived by her loving husband of 14 years, Jim Mullen and her children, Dr. Robert (Diane) Demick of Coral Springs, FL, Dr. James (Laura) Mullen, Susan (Robert) Reid, Constance (Steve) McCammon and Robert (Linda) Mullen; brother, Marshall Billig; sisters, Arlene Yaich, Joyce Mitzak, Eleanor DeRemer and Edith Ottinger; 9 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; special friends of the family, Fred (Kim) Boulton and family. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at 11: 00 AM with a visitation one hour prior to the service at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 6430 Far Hills Ave., Centerville, with Pastor John Brodosky officiating. Burial in Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends Monday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering.
