age 92, of Kettering, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2003. He was a graduate of Steele H.S. in 1928. Alvin was a graduate of The Ohio State University in 1932 and was a member of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity and Business Manager of The Ohio State football team. Mr. Iams was an Executive with The Procter & Gamble Co. for over 38 years including Vice President and General Manager of the special order subsidiary Hewitt Soap Co. He was seated on the Wage and Price Administration representing the soap industry until having to take leave serving in the Navy in WWII. He was a member of The Dayton Country Club for over 50 years and a member of Moraine Country Club. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Carolyn Ann in 1989. Survivors include his wife, Martha Fraze-Iams; son, Don A. Iams of Oakwood; grandsons, Adam H. and Alexander L. of Lenexa, KS; stepsons, Terry Fraze of Dayton, OH and Mark Fraze of Tucson, AZ. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 14, 2003, at Woodland Mausoleum, 118 Woodland Ave., Dayton with Rev. Jeff Campbell officiating. Burial in Woodland Cemetery.
