Ameilia Caton

CATON, Amelia, 79, of Kettering passed away at her home unexpectedly on June 3, 2008. Amelia resided in San Antonio, TX for almost 25 years. Locally, she was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, NCR Country Club and was active in the VFW. Amelia worked as an operator for AT&T and Southwestern Bell and later temporarily trained operators for Southwestern Bell until her retirement. She loved to bowl, play golf, travel and work in her garden. Amelia was preceded in death by her two husbands, Donald Caton and Richard Caton, son, Douglas Caton; sisters, Mary Boothe, Mathilda Sperling; brothers, Douglas, Walter, Roy and Eugene Stone. She is survived by her son, Donald Caton of San Antonio, TX and sister, Wanda (Chuck) Kennedy. Amelia's family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 11, 2008 from 10-11:00AM at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 901 E. Stroop Rd. Kettering followed by a funeral service at 11:00AM also at church with Pastor Thomas Prochaska officiating. Memorial contributions may be sent to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
