Molnar, Andrew Garrett, age 19 months of Miamisburg, OH passed away at Cincinnati Children's Medical Center on Sunday August 3, 2014.
Andrew touched so many lives in his short life. Those touched by him understood that quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His radiant smile and bright blue eyes melted the hearts of those around him.
He possessed strength, perseverance, courage and an ability to face any challenge with hope that was contagious. He shared his love so freely. He loved rocking in his favorite chair. He enjoyed music with an indescribable joy. He could play peek-a-boo for hours. He loved listening to Mommy and Daddy sing and signed for music often. He loved the color red, hearing animal sounds, Mickey Mouse and playing ball. His joy while watching his sister Kaitlyn run and play was an absolutely amazing sight.
With Andrew's passing we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated. We will miss him everyday, especially his incredible smile and he will forever remain in our hearts. Andrew taught us about strength, courage, perseverance and above all, true love. It has been a privilege, honor and blessing to be his parents. We are so proud of our son.
Andrew leaves behind many wonderful caregivers that provided love and support that enhanced his quality of life. Andrew's love extends to his wonderful nurses, doctors, social workers, case managers, and countless others that touched his life and ours.
We are forever grateful for the love, kindness and support that has been shared with us by family, friends, caregivers and even complete strangers.
Andrew is survived by his loving parents, Dan and Heather Molnar of Miamisburg, OH; sister Kaitlyn Molnar; Paternal Grandparents Bill and Deb Molnar of Southport, NC; Maternal Grandparents John and Sharon Gustkey of Johnstown, PA; Uncles and Aunts Chris Molnar of Miamisburg, OH, Casey and Elizabeth Kulhanek of La Grange, TX, Aaron and Stacey Bailey of Johnstown, PA, John and Rose Gustkey of Johnstown, PA; and cousin Elijah Gustkey.
