Andy Strobhar

age 17, of Centerville, went to be with God Tuesday, December 21, 2004. He attended K- 8th grade at Centerville public schools and was a senior at Alter High School. Andy was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. He worked briefly at Hollister’s and worked several summers at Siebenthalers Garden Center. Andy was an outstanding athlete, playing many sports and lettering this year in football, which was his passion. He was involved in the theater program where he acted in several musicals and plays. Andy was an artist, a musician and an instant friend of everyone he met. He was a “Master” of Instant Messaging. Andy is survived by his loving parents, David and Karen (Kruse) Strobhar; devoted sisters, Kate and Stephanie whom he adored; proud grandmother, Margaret Strobhar; and a host of caring aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and a multitude of people whose lives were touched by Andy. A celebration of Andy’s life will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, at Christ United Methodist Church, 3440 Shroyer Rd., Kettering. The family will greet friends from 4:00 – 8:00 PM, Tuesday, at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Burial in David’s Cemetery. A scholarship will be set up in Andy’s memory.
