SPANGENBERG, Ann, age 92, of Kettering, died on March 8, 2006, at Hope Hospice in Bonita Springs, FL. She was born Annabelle Lee Baker on August 11, 1913, in Scioto County, OH to John and Mamie Baker. Ann was Past Matron of Victory Chapter #410 (Dayton-Victory Chapter #594) Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of Dayton Shrine #13, Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem, Daughters of the Nile, the Burroughs Club, and was a Kentucky Colonel Lady. Bill and Ann were members of Central Christian Church and were very active in the Shrine and Masonic arenas. Ann is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, a half-sister and her husband, William. Ann is survived by a daughter, Dr. Karen K. Urbschat (Dr. Gerald E. Urbschat) of Fort Myers Beach, Florida, and Ludington, Michigan, a niece, Annette (Morgan) Ashworth of Wheelersburg, Ohio, and a nephew, Glen (Wilma) Bouts, of Atlanta, Georgia. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 18, 2006, at 10:00 AM at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Rev. David Turner conducting the service. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 17, 2006, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with Eastern Star Memorial Services at 7:30 PM. Internment will be at David’s Cemetery. In memory of Ann, contributions may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital Burn Unit, 3229 Burnet Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45229-3095 or Hope Hospice, 9470 Healthpark Circle., Fort Myers, FL 33908.
