Anna Laura Bray Webb

WEBB, Anna "Ann" Laura Bray, age 86, of Kettering passed away on December 24, 2013. Ann was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and was actively involved with the Kettering South YMCA. She was also a schoolteacher for the Kettering City School District. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, M. Crawford and Mollie Bray; brother, Fletcher Bray; and sister, Wilda Adams. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, William; sons, William C. Webb III of Kettering, OH and Robert A. Webb of Yellow Springs, OH; and granddaughter, Mollie L. Webb Hill, and husband, Jason, of North Smithfield, RI. The memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Cordia High School, Lotts Creek Community Schools, 6050 Lotts Creek Road, Hazard, KY 41701. It was at Cordia High School that Ann became the first woman in the state of Kentucky to coach high school boys' basketball from 1949-1950.
