GILLIAM, Anna Mae Hardin, 83, of Dayton, passed away at her son's home on Saturday, November 22, 2008 after a long bout with cancer. She was born on June 8, 1925 in Coshocton, OH. Anna Mae was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands and an infant child. She is survived by three sons, Gregory (fiance, Joyce Murnahan) Hardin; Ernie (Sue) Hardin; Elmer (Rhonda) Gilliam; one daughter, Linda (Mike) Harvey; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother, Charles Dittmar and several nieces and nephews. Anna Mae worked for DESC approximately 23 years. She volunteered at the VA Hospital, visiting the sick. She was a life member of DAVA Unit #9 of Dayton and was involved in various Masonic organizations. Anna Mae was active in church and numerous community organizations, including scouting and working for local election polls. Anna Mae's family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 from 4-7:00PM at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00AM also at the funeral home with Rev. Rick Smith officiating.
