Fourteen of those lived to adulthood and raised children; two others, George Herman, died in an accident at the age of seven, and Joseph Benedict, Anne’s twin, died in infancy. She was also preceded in death by her three husbands, George Day, Allen C. Hutcheson Jr. and Ray Albers and one grandson, George Schulz Day, who died on December 17, 1988. She always had handiwork, appliqué or crochet, while watching a game. She was a faithful member of Saint Albert the Great Catholic Church in Kettering, Ohio and a community volunteer. For twenty years she devoted her time and talents to the volunteer programs at Kettering Hospital. She liked to visit and was entirely interested in her whole family.
