DeBERNARDI, Anthony L., "Tony" age 77, of Washington Twp., passed away on Friday, June 3, 2016. Tony was born on March 18, 1939 in New York City to Anthony and Zona Maie DeBernardi. He was an avid photographer, loved woodworking, leather tooling, fine foods and traveling. After serving in the U.S. Air Force, Tony graduated from New York University with a BS Degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked for General Electric for over 20 years and he went on to work for Northrop Corp. on the B2 program as an Aerospace Engineer. Preceded in death by his wife Anastasia "Ann," in 2014; and parents. Survived by daughters, Andrea (Brian) Lapp and Melissa DeBernardi (Kenya Smith), both of Washington Twp.; grandchildren Tanner and Megan Lapp and Kai Smith. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Brighton Gardens for their wonderful care of Tony. The family will greet friends from 10:00-10:30am on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 followed by a funeral service at 10:30am at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 500 Belmonte Park N., Dayton, OH 45405 with Rev. Fr. Mark Emroll officiating. Burial will follow at Dayton National Cemetery.
