MAAS, Anthony “Tony” age 94 of Kettering passed away on Friday, April 14, 2006 at Hospice of Dayton. Tony was a member of St. Albert the Great Church and the Allied Men’s Club. He was born in Odzaci, Yugoslavia. Tony worked for Wenzler Construction and for the City of Kettering Maintenance Department. He was a loving, husband, father and grandfather, affectionately known as Ota. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Magdalena Maas in 1997 and 5 sisters. Tony is survived by his daughters, Katharina (Adam) Gjarmati of Kettering, Magdalena (Larry) Habodasz of Huber Heights and Barbara (John) Dahlinghaus of Kettering; 3 sons, Frank (Barbara) Maas of Huber Heights, John (Diane) Maas of Centerville and Hank (Carol) Maas of Huber Heights; 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews in Europe. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at St. Albert the Great Church, 3033 Far Hills Ave., Kettering at 12:00PM with Father James Manning officiating. Burial at Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5-8:00PM on Tuesday, April 18th at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420, Spina Bifida Association of Greater Dayton Office, 4801 Springfield St., Riverside, OH 45431 or to the American Diabetes Association, Southwest OH/Northern KY Office 8899 Brookside Ave., Ste. 102 West Chester, OH 45069.
