Anthony "Tony" Sorice

SORICE, Anthony L. age 64 of Kettering, OH passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, surrounded by his loving and devoted wife Sue and family. Tony was born on May 2, 1955 to the late Anthony and Mary Ellen (Lockwood) Sorice. He graduated from Belmont High School in 1973. He then went on to join the Air Force, retiring as a Master Sergeant, and then taking a job at Select Tech Services Corporation. Tony is remember as being a devoted family man who placed the needs of others before his own. Joy filled his heart when he was spending time with his grandchildren, called on by his loved ones in need for his help, and getting a joke in that often only he found funny. He enjoyed activities such as golfing, cruising around in his new pontoon boat, working on cars, and watching OSU football (O-H-I-O). Quite the traveler, Tony visited places such as Hawaii, California, New Mexico, Las Vegas, and Australia and saw many more during his time in the Air Force.

Tony is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Susan (Balke) Sorice; his three sons, Justin (Julie), Aaron (Rose), Jared (Amanda); four daughters Amanda, Angela, Rachel, Shannon; eleven grandchildren, Jacob, Haylee, Thelma, Lexie, Audrey F., Jaydyn, Darin, Maria, Audrey L., Layla, and Luke; six brothers and sisters, Stephen (Faith), Cynthia (Greg) Bradfield, Gregory (Jodee), Catherine (Chris) Coppola, Kevin (Kris), Melody (Brian) Knostman; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved desert dog, Joe. To know Tony is to love him unconditionally. From the moment a person was introduced to Tony, he loved them as family. He knew no enemy and was a true disciple of his Lord, Jesus Christ.

The family invites you to celebrate his life at a visitation held Monday, August 26 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd, with a service Tuesday, August 27 at Immaculate Conception Church at 10am.
