age 80, of Centerville, passed away, Tuesday, February 11, 2003. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1951. Arthur was the Chairman of the Board of Dayton Superior Corporation, when he retired in 1987 after 35 years of service. He served as a Captain in the US Army during WWII. Arthur was a longtime member of Church of the Incarnation and the Engineer's Club. Preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Margaret Mess; brother, Richard Mess. Survived by his wife of 53 years, Sue Mess; three sons, Mike (Diane), Tom (Helen), and Tim Mess; grandchildren, Dan, Katy, Brad, Megan and Kenton Mess; sister, Margaret Baker, and many other special family members. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, February 14, at the Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave., Centerville with Father Chuck Mentrup officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 6-8:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville.
