Audrey E. Gahris

GAHRIS, Audrey Ellen, age 78, of Kettering, OH, and most recently Trinity Community in Beavercreek, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2002. She received her R.N. degree from Flower Hospital in Toledo and retired as a head nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton. Audrey was a past member of Normandy United Methodist Church where she was in the choir. She also was a member of Singing Grannies Group and Susan H. Wuist Order of Eastern Star. Preceded in death by her parents, Donald B. and Bertha Gahris; 2 brothers, Donald G. Gahris of Centerville and Robert Gahris of Defiance; and nephew, Gregory Gahris of Centerville. Survived by her sister, Evelyn Y. Belitz of St. Petersburg, FL; brother, Raymond Gahris of Downers Grove, IL; and numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, in Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, with Chaplain Beverly Jenkins officiating. The family will greet friends from 12:00 - 1:00, Monday, in the funeral home. Burial in David's Cemetery, Kettering.
