B. Mcguffey Bowman

age 81, of Kettering passed away Monday, June 13, 2005 at Miami Valley Hospital. He served in the United States Army Air Corp during WWII as a B-24 mechanic in England. Mac received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from The Ohio State University and was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. He retired as a claims adjuster from Ohio Casualty. Mac is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Elizabeth “Bette” Bowman; 2 sons, John (Pam) Bowman of Kettering and Rick (Jackie) Bowman of Dayton; 2 daughters, Susan Bowman of Springboro and Nancy (Lance) McKinney also of Springboro; 3 grandchildren, Natalie (Thomas) Jenkins, Stefanie Folino and Kenneth Folino all of Dayton; 1 great-granddaughter, Emma; sister, Jean (Louis R.) Reeder of Tulsa, OK and several nieces, nephews, and many great friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, at 10AM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Burial in David’s Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5:00PM to 8:00PM Thursday at the funeral home.
