Barbara Anne Porter

PORTER, Barbara Anne, Follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, age 65, of Kettering, died Saturday, December 24, 2000, at Hospice of Dayton. Barbara was a long time member of Hillside Chapel of the Christian and Missionary Alliance and was very active in volunteer work. She attended Wright State University, where she received her bachelor degree in Liberal Arts. She was formerly employed by Wright State University in the Psychology Dept. Preceded in death by her parents, Earle and Mabel Skidmore, and a brother, James Skidmore. Survived by her husband of 16 years, Wendell; children, Anita (Ted) Livingston of Kettering, John Bucy of Kettering, Keith (Tania) Porter of Jacksonville, FL., and Shawn (Elizabeth) Porter of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Nathan and Nicholas Livingston, Sabrina Bucy, Lexi, Jeni, and Konner Porter, Luke and Hannah Porter. Funeral services will be held at 7 P.M., Thursday, December 28 at Hillside Chapel, 3515 Shakertown Road, with Pastor Neil Clarke officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 2-4 and 5-7 at Hillside Chapel. Graveside services will be for family only at Kirkwood Cemetery.
