Barbara Jane Snedegar

SNEDEGAR, Barbara Jane, age 71 of Centerville, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2011. Formerly of Sardis, Kentucky, Barbara was a huge Kentucky basketball fan, and by way of her husband, a huge Dayton Flyers fan as well. She was passionate about the Cincinnati Reds and never missed watching their games on TV. Barbara was devoted to her family, she loved cooking and caring for them, spending time with her grandchildren and attending all their special events. She especially loved the time she spent with her mother, driving her and her friends to Bingo and taking them out to lunch. She was always putting others first and taking care of everyone’s needs. She will be missed by so many. Barbara is survived by her high school sweetheart and loving husband of 53 years, Ray Snedegar; son, Dwayne Snedegar and daughters, Dawn Snedegar and DeAnn (Ty) Kitzerow; grandchildren, Dustin, Erik, LeighAnn, Carly, Alex and Lily; siblings, Joan Mathis, Phyllis (Mike) Esz, and Larry (Dora) Beckett; numerous nieces and nephews and many loving friends. Family will greet friends on Tuesday, November 22 from 5:00-8:00PM at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 2100 E Stroop Rd, Kettering. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00AM at the funeral home with Rev. Dave Tackett officiating.
