Ben Allen Schubert

SCHUBERT, Ben A., 69, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at the Bellbrook Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. A graduate of Roosevelt High School, class of 1957, Ben began working with Pennsylvania Railroad and was proud to be a "Railroad Man" for the next forty-four years. Ben was preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn and Florence Schubert of Harriman, TN, and his brother, Roy Schubert of Tampa, FL. Ben is survived by his wife of 48 years, Naomi; son, Todd (Diana) of Beavercreek; daughter, Melissa of Centerville; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 3 brothers, Bob, Lawrence, Michael; 2 sisters, Patricia and Carol and numerous other family members. Ben's integrity and strong code of ethics are just two of the many fine qualities he will be remembered for. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
