Benjamin Charles Campbell

CAMPBELL, Benjamin “Ben,” age 51 of Kettering passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 18, 2009. A graduate of Fairmont HS and the Culinary Institute of America, Ben worked as a chef for Marriott for 22 years and currently at Bethany/Graceworks Village. He was an avid sports fan, especially The Ohio State University teams. The loves of his life were his family, food and imported beers. Ben was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin H. Campbell. He is survived by his beloved “Idol,” Ruth Fannin; mother, Doris Campbell; brother, Douglas (Joanna) Campbell; sisters: Cynthia (Marvin) Swafford, Becky (Jimmy) Owens; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service will be held 2:00PM on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Family will receive friends from 1-2:00PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Willowview Cemetery, Dayton.
