Betty Ann Breidenbach

BREIDENBACH, Betty Ann, age 76, of Oakwood passed away Friday, July 8, 2005 at Walnut Creek Nursing Center, Kettering following a short illness. Betty was born in Dayton, OH, graduated from Oakwood High School and then attended Monticello College in Alton, IL and Ohio State University, majoring in Fine Arts. She was a lifelong resident of Oakwood, a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, the Dayton Junior League, Oakwood Garden Club, Delta Gamma Sorority and Co-founder of Bettmaar Artwear Inc. Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Henry (Hank) L. Breidenbach; parents, Fred C. & Rose M. (Mantia) Geiler; sister and brother-in-law, Katharine G. (Geiler) & Frederic L. Rieger and aunt, Katherine Ross. She is survived by her son, Jeff & Nancy Breidenbach of Oakwood; daughter, Amy & Cris Johnston of Indianapolis, IN; 5 grandchildren, Megan, Molly & Max Breidenbach and Rick & Ben Johnston; sisters and brothers-in-law, Eleanor Nelson of Virginia & Conrad Nelson of Minneapolis, MN, and Suzanne & Robert Mills of Solon, OH and many nieces & nephews. A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 18, 2005 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 33 W. Dixon Ave., Oakwood, with Rev. Jack Koepke officiating. Family will receive friends Wednesday, August 17, from 6-8:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 6 Oakwood Ave., at Irving and prior to the memorial service Thursday, August 18, 2005 from 10-11:00 AM at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 33 W. Dixon Ave., Oakwood. Private family burial. The family would like to extend special thanks to, the entire staff of the Suites at Walnut Creek & Walnut Creek Nursing Center, and Hospice of Dayton for their loving care.
