Betty J. Dye

DYE, Betty J., age 87, of Centerville, formerly of Columbus, passed away on March 15, 2015. She was born on February 8, 1928 in Camden, OH to the late Charles L. and Betty (Mink) Lindsey. Betty graduated from Dixon High and worked for more than twenty years at Sears & Roebuck. She was a member of the Centerville Garden Club and enjoyed baking, bowling and working in her flower garden. Betty is preceded in death by husband in 2002, Robert K. Dye, daughter-in-law, Deidre (McGurrin) Dye and eleven brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, Robert L. Dye of Palatka, FL, Kenneth A. (Yvonne Kovac) Dye of Marshfield, MA and Karen J. (Philip) Temple of Bishopville, SC; grandchildren, Alicia, Jonathan, Rebecca, Andrea and Victoria; four great-grandchildren; brother, Clyde Lindsey of Eaton, OH; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to offer a special thanks to Betty's great-niece, Gretchen Kollhoff for her compassionate care. Family will greet friends from 11:00am to 12:00 pm on Friday, March 20, 2015 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville.
