Betty Jean Koesters

KOESTERS, Betty Jean (Bondurant), age 88, of Kettering, formerly of Vandalia and Dayton, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017. Betty was a member of St. Anthony Church for over 50 years and a longtime resident of Grand Court/Brookdale of Kettering. She was a member of the Council 500 Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxillary, Nu Iota Kappa Sorority, and the Carlisle Avenue Card Club. Betty retired from Sears after 18 years of service. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years Louis E. Koesters. Betty is survived by her children, David (Debbie) Koesters of Muncie, IN, Jane (Rick) Johnston, Mark (Rebecca) Koesters, Rose (Rocky) Adams, Ann (Jim) Shiverdecker, John (Cathy) Koesters, and Walt (Dawn) Koesters, all of Dayton; grandchildren: Elizabeth (Jason), Ben (Sara), Nikki, Rob (Nicole), Ed, Jillian, A.J. (Marsha), Matt (Lizzy), Cody, Allyson, Kevin and Dana, 10 great-grandchildren, and sister, Mary Ann Sherman of Kettering, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am, on Friday, June 16, 2017 at St. Anthony Church, 820 Bowen St., Dayton. Interment at Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5-8:00pm, Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering.
