Betty L Maeder

MAEDER, Betty L., age 88, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2008 at Bethany Lutheran Village. Betty was a member of Southern Hills United Methodist Church for many years, past member of Tri-T and Garden Club. She graduated from Fairmont High School in 1937. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Charles E., son, R. Scott and daughter, Sandra Lee Maeder. She is survived by her daughter, Susan K. (William) Ahern of Centerville, son, Michael C. (Jan) Maeder, M.D. of Cincinnati; 6 grand-children; Rob Maeder, Melissa Pedrick, Marc Maeder, Carey Lunne, Chad Ahern and Michael Ahern, 4 great-grandchildren; Isabelle, Elizabeth, Alexander and Graham. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Southern Hills United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 2287 S. Dixie Dr. Dayton, Ohio 45409. She will always be remembered for her love of family and friends, beautiful flower gardens and her sweet and caring personality.
