Betty Lee Beaman

BEAMAN, Betty Lee, age 76, of Kettering, passed away on Monday, March 8, 2018. She was born on February 19, 1942 in Lodi, OH to Daniel and Lois Jackson. Betty grew up in Spencer, OH and graduated from Black River High School in 1960. She went to college in Omaha, NE and worked as a nanny to help pay for her schooling. Upon completion, she moved to New York City and got a job with Western Union which she held for many years. Betty also lived in Covington, KY and Jackson, TN. She met the love of her life in Jackson, Burton Beaman. After moving to Centerville to start their lives together, Betty starting working as a real estate agent. She and Burton loved spending their life together and spent a large part of it traveling. Burton preceded her in death in 1992. Betty loved making friends, cats, yoga, going on walks, and college basketball. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Niles and Rita Blough; nephew, Darren Blough; niece, Belinda Grimsley; and numerous great-nieces and a great-nephew. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to any cancer or animal charity.
