Betty Lou Lentz

LENTZ, Betty Lou, age 89 ½, died on February 23, 2019 at Hospice of Dayton. Betty was born on August 25, 1929 in Youngstown, OH.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Harry Davis, who died in 1990. Betty remarried Werner Lentz in 1997, who died in 2002.

She moved to Beavercreek shortly after to be closer to family. Betty was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dayton.

She leaves behind 4 children, James (Kathy) Davis, Jennifer Davis, Meghan (Duane) Phillips, and Mark Davis; as well as 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.


Family was everything to Betty. She was an elegant woman, who like a fine wine got better with age. She was caring, supportive, and open-minded. She will be missed. Let her memory be a blessing.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
