VAVUL, Betty Louise, on March 22, 2006 the most beautiful, gentle and loving lady left us to be with the Lord. Born in Chicago on September 18, 1927, she was a caring woman with a quick wit and a terrific sense of humor. She enjoyed life immensely, particularly social gatherings, playing golf and gourmet cooking. Betty was much beloved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Mary Johnson and brother Robert Johnson. Betty is survived by her loving husband, Bill Vavul. They spent 58 beautiful years together. She is also survived by one son, Gary and wife Nancy; two daughters, Vicki and husband Vince and Pam and husband Dan; two brothers, Ted and Ron; 6 loving grandchildren Stacy, Ashley, Kelly, Jenny, Katie and Scott and numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and close friends.The family will receive friends Saturday, March 25, 2006, from 3-4:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville. The family is planning a private memorial service. The family requests in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to the “Active Parkinsonians,” c/o Donna Boyer, 806 Pondway Rd., Kettering, OH 45419.
