Betty Louise Fouts

Augspurger), age 89, of Oakwood, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2001. She was a graduate of Middletown High School and Miami University, Oxford. Betty was an elementary school teacher at Maple Park Elementary School in Middletown. She was an active and supportive member of PEO - Chapter Z, The College Women's Club, Dayton Philharmonic Volunteer Association, Opera Guild, Dayton Woman's Club, TTT, Acacia Club, Dayton Country Club, Fairmont Presbyterian Church, Oakwood Historical Society, Engineers Club, Garden Club, Wright State University, and Dayton Art Institute. Preceded in death in 1980 by her husband, Arthur J. Fouts. Survived by a sister, Virginia Shanklin of FL; 3 nephews, Stephen Oakley of CO, Keith Oakley of FL and John Humston of TX; 2 nieces, Lynn Marx of VA and Gayle Baker of TX; several great nieces and great nephews; and close friend, George Stillwagon. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, at Fairmont Presbyterian Church, 3705 Far Hills Ave., Kettering, with Dr. Robert H. Wade officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the service. There will be a private burial at Woodside Cemetery, Middletown.
