Betty Louise Oberer

OBERER, Betty Louise, age 79, of Washington Township and Naples, FL, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2012. Betty was a 1951 graduate of Stivers High School and worked for many years at Oberer Companies. She attended Church of the Incarnation in Centerville and St. John the Evangelist in Naples. Betty was very active in her churches where she helped with bible studies and sewing groups. She enjoyed music and loved to dance. Betty had a deep political knowledge and an opinion to go with it. Preceded in death by her son, Gary. Betty is survived by her husband and companion of over 40 years, George Robert Oberer, Sr.; children, Jim (Lisa) Enix of GA, Rick (Alice) Enix of GA, Karen (Norm) Miozzi of Springboro, George (Amy) Oberer, Jr. of Washington Township, Patty (Brad) Grub of Vandalia, Cheri (John) Seidenschmidt of NC, Jacquelyn Koogler of Miami Township, Shelly (Dave) Edge of Centerville, and Mike (Tonya) Oberer of Washington Township; 20 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and sister, Virginia Berger of Dayton. Family will greet friends from 2:00-5:00PM on Sunday, July 22, 2012 at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30AM on Monday at Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave.Centerville. Burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice of Dayton for all their care and compassion.
