Betty Mae Combs

COMBS, Betty Mae, age 71, of Kettering, passed on quietly with her family by her side on December 5, 2000. She was born in Galeton, CO on July 7, 1929. Preceded in death by a brother and a sister-in-law, James and Ann Nazarenus and a brother-in-law, Lee Cochran. Betty retired from Kettering City Schools Food Service at J. E. Prass Elementary School. Survived by her husband of 55 years, Ray Combs; 2 sons, Danny and Debbie Combs and Robert Combs and Trish Wysong; 2 daughters, Phyllis and Walt Wilson and Shelly and Mark Kussman; 5 grandchildren, Kevin, Bryan, Todd, Paul and Kylee; 3 great grandchildren, Matthew, Madison and Colin; a brother, Johnny and Pat Nazarenus of Davenport, Iowa; 4 sisters, Helen Cochran of Mesa, AZ, Jean and Tom Korte of Muscatine, Iowa; Shirley and Don Stoltenburg of Eldridge, Iowa and Elaine Nazarenus of Davenport, Iowa; and numerous brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nephews, nieces and many wonderful friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, OH. The family will receive friends from 4-8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. The burial will be at Heritage Hills Memory Gardens.
