Beverly Ann Grove

GROVE, Beverly Ann, age 78, of Kettering, passed away. Preceded in death by her parents, Birtsyl, and Dolores (Roush) Roades and her husband of 36 years H. Mark Grove. She is survived by her children Holly (John) Thomas and Jay (Bridget) Grove; grandchildren Kyle Ritchie Thomas, Evan Mark Thomas, Harrison Cody Grove, Philip Casey Grove; Uncle, Max (Irene) Roush; Brother in law Jim (Lou) Grove and many treasured neighbors, friends and extended family. Beverly graduated in 1951 from Hillsboro High School, in Hillsboro, Ohio. She attended Miami Jacobs after high school and later attended Towson State in Towson, Maryland where she received her certificate in Early Childhood. She was a telephone operator before she chose to stay home to raise her children and after 12 years she returned to work at a Child Day Care Center. Later she worked for and retired from TRW where she was the security receptionist. After retiring from TRW she held positions at Logicon and Time Warner Cable. Beverly was a member of Hope United Methodist Church for 49 years. She was heavily involved in the church working in the nursery, volunteering at Vacation Bible School and attending Bible Study classes. She loved to travel to visit family and friends. The family will greet friends from 5-6 PM with Memorial services following at 6 PM on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at Hope United Methodist Church, 5980 Wilmington Pike, Centerville, OH. Donations may be made in Beverly's name to Hope United Methodist Church or the American Heart Society.
