Bonnie Ervin

Bonnadine Ervin, age 81, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024. 

Bonnie was born September 28, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio to Duane L. and Lois L. Ervin (deceased). Bonnie graduated from Fairmont Hight School in Kettering, Ohio and went on to the University of Dayton. In 1989, she received a Liberal Arts degree from Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio. Bonnie retired from Fifth Third Bank. Following retirement, she worked part-time for Day-Air Credit Union and then served Day-Air as a volunteer Supervisory Board member. 

In addition to her parents, Bonnie is preceded in death by one brother, Daniel L. Ervin. Survivors include three children: Christine M. Kelly (Mark) of Lafayette, IN, David Michael Batson (Dee) of Eaton, OH, and Kevin S. Batson (Heather) of Green River, WY, ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several aunts, uncles, a niece and nephew, and cousins.

The family will welcome friends from 10:00am to noon on Wednesday, June 5^th at Routsong Funeral Home in Kettering. Funeral Services will follow at noon with Pastor Kristi Smith officiating. Bonnie will be laid to rest in New Burlington Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ United Methodist Church. For those unable to attend, Bonnie’s services will be livestreamed on Routsong Funeral Home’s YouTube channel.
