Bonnie Evelyn Mantia

age 82, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and a good friend to all who knew her, was lost to us Thursday, June 24, 2004 at Hospice of Dayton. Our lives and community will be the less for it. She was born November 21, 1921. Preceded in death by her former husband and friend, Michael J. Mantia Sr.; mother, Mary Nunley; father, Park Nunley; son, Phillip Mantia; sisters, Helen Payne, Jimmie Nunley and Amy Ready; brother, Glen Nunley; and niece, Louise Tutt Gorman. Survived by her son, Michael and wife, Debby Mantia; grandsons, Michael D. and Tyler Mantia; grandson, David P. and wife, Tammy Mantia; great-granddaughters, Susan and Jennifer Mantia; sister, Francis “Hank” Duff and husband, Millard; brother, Park B. Nunley Jr. and wife, Nadine; cousins, Ruby Payne and Geraldine Rich. To her neighbors on Vermeer Dr., our heartfelt gratitude for your love and kindness to her. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM, Monday at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Pastor Doug Surber officiating. Family will receive friends from 4-6:00 PM, Monday at the funeral home and at Hank’s Pub, 2529 Patterson Rd., Kettering following the service.
