BERG, Burton C., age 87, of Centerville, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2000. He was a Lt. Commander, U.S.N.R., serving in the South Pacific during World War II. He was Vice President of International Sales for Mead Corporation. Burton was a graduate of Miami University and Harvard School of Business. He was a long standing member of Dayton Country Club, several International Business Clubs and the President's Council. Preceded in death by his wife, Aasta, in 1982. Survived by his son, Kenneth P. Berg, and his wife, Francee, of Centerville; his daughter, Aasta Camille Berg of Kettering; and 4 grandchildren, Allison and Kristen Berg and Chris and Meredith Houser. The family will greet friends in Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M., Friday. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, in the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Northridge Community Library, 4909 N. Dixie Dr., Dayton OH 45414 or the American Cancer Society, 40 S. Perry St., Suite 120, Dayton OH 45401-1429.
