Callie M. Price

PRICE, Callie M. ( nee Horn), age 85, of Springboro, loving wife and mother passed away Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Hospice of Warren & Butler Counties after a lengthy illness. She was born in Irvine, Kentucky to the late James & Ida Horn on September 30, 1924. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Kettering. She was preceded in death by her sisters Florence Rawlins, Lou Elizabeth Johnson, Marie Gaines, Susie Fauste; brother James Horn, Jr.; son Gary D. Price; daughter-in-law Linda Price; grandson Neil Price; and granddaughter Jennifer Brookhart. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Donald Eugene of Springboro; sisters Dru Cook of Irvine, Kentucky and Ella Durham of Eaton; sister-in-law Pauline Horn of Irvine, KY; sons Larry Price of Centerville and Daniel Price ( Vicki) of Largo, Florida; daughter Joyce Alexinas ( Michael) of Springboro; and daughter-in-law Diana Price of Dayton. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren whom she adored - Kim Matt, Kelly Ely, Lindsay Mathews (Derrion), Brad Price, Mitchell Price, Tracy Price and Joshua Price; great-grandchildren Alex, Taylor, Kaylin, Joseph, Evan, Jordan, Brooklyn, Aubree, Liam, Jason, Zachary, Caleb, Jonah, Sebastian, Ella, and many nieces and nephews. The loving support provided to the family by Steve Clark, Joe Kuper, Carrie Kircher, Lawanna Beasley, Barbara Miller and Sandy Elliott was greatly appreciated. The family would also like to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Nancy Liu, M.D., the Hospice Staff and the in-home caregivers, JoAnn Dole, Anne Gant, Angie Collins and Jennifer Foster for their professional, thoughtful and loving care during Callie's long illness. The family will receive family and friends from 10:00AM to 12:00PM, with funeral services being held at 12:00PM, Thursday, September 30, 2010 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Road, Kettering, OH 45429. Graveside services immediately thereafter at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, St. Route 48 and Lytle-Five Points Road.
