Carl K. Ray

RAY, Carl K., age 82, of Centerville, OH passed away Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Hospice of Dayton. He was the son of the late Rev. Daniel and Ollie (Self) Ray of Leitchfield, KY. He is survived by his wife, Marolyn (Hydaker) Ray and 2 children; Tracie Waterhouse and David (Joellen) Ray, all of Washington Township; 6 grandchildren, Amanda, Amy and Ashlyn Ray and Kelsey, Casey and David Waterhouse; 2 sisters, Mrs. J. Riddle of Georgetown, IN and Mrs. R. Scooling of Hodgensville, KY; and several nieces and nephews. Carl retired from Standard Register Company as Manager of Product Service after 41 years of service where he also served on the Credit Union Board. He worked as a starter for NCR Country Club for the last 16 years. He loved golf and fishing and was proud to have had three holes in one. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and Far Hills Masonic Lodge F&AM. At one time he was active in KABC youth athletics, Indian Guides, Fairmont West Boosters Club and was a volunteer for the City of Kettering. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, March 8, 2007 at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville with Pastor Paul Stuckey officiating. Burial will follow in Spencerville, OH Cemetery. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
