age 88 of Centerville, died Monday, November 12, 2001. He was a member of Garfield United Methodist Church in Pepper Pike, OH and a long time resident of Kirtland Hills, OH. Carlton graduated from Belding High School in Belding, MI, and graduated from MI Technological University in Houghton, MI with a BS in Chemical Engineering. He was also a life long member of the Holden Arboretum in Kirtland, OH and a member of the Centerville Kiwanis Club. Carlton retired after 33 years as a Chemical Engineer from Lubrizol Corporation in Cleveland, OH. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Nancy in 1993. Carlton is survived by 1 daughter and a son-in-law, Carol & George Carter of Jefferson, PA; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Doug & Jan Darling of Altoona, Iowa, and Greg & Susan Darling of Centerville; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; a sister, Nancy Corbin of Florida; a sister-in-law, Jeanne Crawford of Cleveland, OH; numerous nieces and nephews.
