Carman Louis Church

CHURCH, Carman L., age 82, formerly of Centerville, OH passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at Wilshire at Lakewood, Lee’s Summit, MO. Carman was born October 22, 1923 in Nelsonville, OH. A graduate of Ohio University, he is retired from The Monsanto Company, Dayton Laboratory. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carman L. Church Sr. and Blanche Parfitt Church, lifelong residents also of Athens, OH, and his wife, Helen Church. He is survived by his two daughters, Claudia Church Poe of Lee’s Summit, MO and Lisa A. Church of Pasadena, CA; his granddaughter, Lara Schluderberg of Lone Jack, MO; nieces, Antoinette Ashland and Alexandra Austin; nephews, Philip Gallagher, Gregory Gallagher, Edward Gallagher and Peter Ashland; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday March 27, at 3:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St. Centerville with Rev. Brooks Heck officiating. Visitation will be from 2-3:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the service. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, 1:00 PM at the West Union St. Cemetery, Athens, OH.
