Carol Irene Page

PAGE, Carol Irene, age 75 of Kettering, was granted her angel wings on October 9, 2010. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on June 18, 1935 to the late Russell and Mary Sams. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ashley Page in 2001. She is survived by her daughters, Peggy Sams and Diana Page; sisters, Dorothy Muhlenkamp, Delma Hughes and Eva Furgison; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends. She retired in 1990 from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base after 35 years of service. Throughout her career, she received many awards and commendations. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends whom Carol had touched in some way throughout her very memorable life. Her gentle smile and caring nature brought much joy to her family and friends. The family wishes to express a special thanks to those who participated in her care; especially Dorothy Muhlenkamp, Leah Gwin, Jaime Heeter and The Hospice of Dayton. The family will receive friends on Tuesday October 12th from 5-8:30PM at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Road in Kettering. Funeral Service will be at 10:00AM October 13th, also at the funeral home with Chaplain Gordon Victorson officiating. Burial to follow at Mt.Zion Cemetery.
