Carole A. Routsong

ROUTSONG, Carole A., age 78, of Centerville, passed away on January 20, 2017. Carole was born on August 12, 1938 to the late Harold D. and Sarah L. (Oliver) Brant in Morrow, OH. Carole was very outgoing and loved playing tennis. She loved vacationing in warm places with friends; visiting Florida, Hawaii and the Caribbean Islands. She enjoyed volunteering her time at Kettering Medical Center. Carole is preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Jay Routsong, her son, Scott Routsong, and her brother, Robert Brant. Carole had a passion for horses. She and Jay would travel to the different race tracks in the area to watch their thoroughbred race. Carole was also a member of the Dayton Women's Circle and the Oakcreek United Church of Christ. Carole is survived by her daughter, Lynne M. Routsong-Wiechers; two grandchildren: Megan and Drew. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Friday, January 27, 2017 at David's Cemetery Community Mausoleum Chapel. Family will greet friends following the service in the gathering room.
