Carolyn L. Davies

DAVIES, Carolyn L., (Demas) age, 82, of Centerville, Ohio, departed this life on Sunday, October 13, 2002. Born in Corwin, Ohio on December 6, 1919, she was preceded in death by her parents, Peter S. and Edith (Davis) Demas; brother, Peter S. Demas, Jr.; 2 half-brothers, Eugene and Max McElwee; and husband Roderick (Rod) W. Davies. Survivors left to cherish her memory include: son, Roderick (Rick) and wife, Gina Gard Davies; son Timothy Davies; granddaughters, Carolyn and Kimberly Davies; aunt, Rachel Davis; 2 cousins, 3 nieces, and 3 nephews. A special thanks is given to those who helped her through her illness in the past year, especially her niece and husband, Rita and Bob Agne. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2002 at 11:30 A.M. at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Centerville, with Father Tom Schmidt officiating. Burial in Miami Cemetery in Waynesville following the service. Family will receive friends from 10-11:30 AM in the narthax at the church.
