Carrie J. Davis

DAVIS, Carrie J., age 88, of Dayton, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2004. She was a member of Northridge Wesleyan Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Walter Davis in 1938; son, Charles in 1935; daughter, Clara Jean McGlone in 1984. Survived by son-in-law, Omer McGlone of Beavercreek; 2 grandchildren, Clarinda (Buz) Smith of Fairborn and Janine (Mike) Mylett of Bradenton, FL; 4 great-grandchildren, Woody, Brian, Matthew and Jonathan; 1 great-great grandchild, Megan; 1 sister, Lois Ruby Dunford of West Virginia. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, January 3, at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Pastor Paul Garverick officiating. Burial in Resthaven Memorial Park in Princeton, West Virginia. Family will receive friends Saturday one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Clara Jean McGlone Scholarship Fund at Sinclair Community College, 444 W. Third St. Dayton, OH 45402.
