Carroll James (Jim) Wilson

July 31, 1918 — May 23, 2001

age 82 of Kettering, died May 23, 2001. He graduated from the University of Colorado in 1939 and was a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. He was a pilot in the U.S. Army Air Force where he served overseas and retired as Lt. Colonel. He was a proud member of the WWII Greatest Generation. Jim retired from NCR after 37 years of service. Jim was a member of Fairmont Presbyterian Church, a past active hospice volunteer, and a Board Member for 2 terms of the Montgomery County Genealogy Society. Preceded in death by a daughter, Susan in November of last year. Survived by his wife of 56 years, Ruth; 2 daughters, Kittie Yohe and her husband, Dennis of Northbrook, IL and Sallie Luther and her husband, Peter of Oakwood; 6 grandchildren, Andrew and Adam Stricker, Carrie and Christopher Yohe, and Christopher and Lauren Luther. A memorial service to be held at a later date. If desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, Inc., P.O . Box 3509, Dayton, Ohio 45401-3509 or charity of choice.
