Carson Alan Elson

Elson, Carson Alan age 20 days the sweet angel of Alexandra “Allie” Greene and Joshua “Josh” Elson, passed away on Sunday June 26, 2022, at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Although Carson’s wings were ready and came too soon, he brought an immeasurable amount of love, joy and smiles to this world. He will be remembered forever for being a tiny, but mighty fighter who loved to have his hand held, head rubbed and cuddled. He will be missed dearly by family and others who loved him.

He preceded in passing by Janet Greene (Winter), Jean Winter, Rita Bender and Paul Elson. He is survived by his parents Allie and Josh; brothers Charlie and Benjamin “Ben”; grandparents Trisha “Trish” and Ronald “Ronnie” Elson; Laurie Roudabaugh (Collins) and Thomas Greene; great grandparents Louis Bender, Cathie and Giles Collins and Leslie (Al) Greene; aunts Allison “Alli” Paul (Elson), Samantha “Sam” Greene, Sara Hughart (Greene), Jessica Greene and Robin Fisher; Uncle Bruce Fisher cousins Lillian, Isabella “Bella”, Clayton, Aaliyah, Sampson, Eliott, Isaiah, Dane, Peyton and Landon; and many other family and friends.

The family would like to thank Bruce Fisher for ordaining Carson’s service; Alexis Shedd for helping edit some photos; Emma O’Brien for helping make remembrance ribbons and those who gave him loving care at Cincinnati Children’s, The Cincinnati Ronald McDonald House for accommodating our stay with them, and Routsong Funeral Home.

Family will greet family and friends from 3-6pm on Wednesday July 6, 2022 at Routsong Funeral Home 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. OH 45429. A memorial service will be held at 6pm following visitation and a reception with food following the service for anyone who would like to celebrate Carson’s life. Services will be livestreamed on Routsong Funeral Home's YouTube page for those unable to attend.
