Cecil George Mittelstadt, Sr.

MITTELSTADT, Cecil G. Sr., age 69, of Kettering passed away at home on Thursday, April 12, 2012. After serving in the U.S. Army, Cecil worked for Restaurant Service Corporation/Jack's Provision in Dayton and retired from Produce One in Dayton. He was a lifetime member of AMVETS Post 9. Preceded in death by his parents, Annie Swafford of Toledo and Elmer Mittelstadt of Dayton; father and mother-in-laws, Jim and Margaret Ruff of Kettering; and sister-in-law, Linda Connor of Xenia. Cecil is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Dolores; sons, Tim (Jett) Mittelstadt of Troy, Cecil Mittelstadt Jr. of Beavercreek, and Chad (Donna) Ruff of Coral Springs, FL; daughters, Amanda (Dennis) Reedy of Kettering, and Megan (Lydia Barrera) Mittelstadt of Centerville; granddaughters, Melissa Mittelstadt, Kandas Reedy, Donna Carothers, Jaden Ruff, and Cheyenne Reedy; grandsons, Justin Mittelstadt, Justin Mittelstadt, Nickolas Mittelstadt, and Matthew Mittelstadt; brother, Dave (Ann) Mittelstadt of Dayton; brother-in-law, Bob Connor of Xenia; sister-in-law, Janet Duckro of Clearwater, FL; nieces, Melissa Pollock of Tampa, FL and Jennifer (Travis) Howell of Lebanon; nephews, Rusty and Kenny Mittelstadt of Dayton; and many other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be at 5:00pm on Monday, April 16, 2012 at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 2100 East Stroop Rd., Kettering. Family will greet friends following the service until 8:00pm at the funeral home. Inurnment in Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
